Our first re-branding blog….
Welcome.
This is where we will be posting blogs. This is our first one after our re-branding which is in a soft launch, currently.
When we first started Winans Imaginative, we had all kinds of visions and ideas. Then we narrowed in and focused on the shoelaces. This has turned into our vision. Bi-colored shoelaces to help teach kids how to tie their shoes. You pick the color, you pick the length and your kiddo will be able to learn to tie their shoes just a little bit easier.
Soon OT’s, (occupational therapists) and parents with kids living with autism found us and learned this was a way to help reinforce color recognition as well as make it easier for kids on the spectrum to learn to tie their shoes. One less problem or ADL (activity of daily living) to deal with.
But then, sports fans found us. And fashionistas found us. They started requesting team colors or colors to match their shoes. I, myself, have taken out factory shoelaces that I hated the color of and made matching shoelaces.
So as time went on, Winans Imaginative didn’t really describe who we were. We are all about shoelaces. We carry two styles (braided and flat) with five different lengths (36″, 45″, 54″, 63″ and 72″). We have more colors in house than we put on our website, so if you are interested in a certain color, let us know. Unless it is neon, we can most likely find a match.
We settled on Tye The Shoe. This most represents who we are. Tye is spelled differently because our laces are all hand dyed with fiber reactive dye.
Nothing else has changed besides our branding. All shoelaces (or shoestrings) are made in the USA with USA Materials and bought from USA companies. Every single pair is hand dyed. Every single receipt is hand signed by me. I double check the order, write a note on the receipt and send it off. No rubber stamps, no 3rd party handling your purchase.
While we go through this rebranding, feel free to reach out to us with any questions, comments or concerns.
Thank you for your business
